GP NSS Clinical Lead:

Dr Louise O Leary听

听

Dr Louise O鈥橪eary is the joint clinical lead for NSS pathway, she is a GP based in Tidworth. Together with Dr Bushby, Dr O鈥橪eary established the NSS service and remains a key member of the clinical team, conducting telephone consultations, communicating results to patients and directing onward referrals. Dr O鈥橪eary has direct links to primary care, this has ensured open communication networks between referring clinicians and secondary care, where the NSS service is situated, enabling the service to quickly establish and thrive.听听

NSS Clinical Nurse Specialist:

The NSS Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will be able to offer support to you and your family during your NSS pathway up to the point of discharge. The CNS works very closely with the rest of their team and undertakes the same clinical duties as the clinical lead which includes,听conducting telephone consultations, communicating results to patients and directing onward referrals.

They will work very closely with the rest of their team, which is made up of doctors, nurses and other health professionals.听

The CNS is well placed to offer you emotional support, advice about your health听problems and give听you information you may find helpful.听听

The NSS Clinical Nurse Specialist is Natalie Dawson听

Natalie works on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 鈥� between 8:00am - 16:00pm.听听

Outside of Natalie鈥檚 working hours, a message left on the answer phone will make sure they contact you as soon as they are back in the office, or it will give you another number to ring.鈥� 鈥�听

Clinical Lead for Cancer Transformation:

Dr Lucy Bushby听

Dr Lucy Bushy is the joint clinical lead for the NSS pathway. She is a consultant Radiologist and the clinical lead for cancer transformation services at SFT. She provides expert clinical oversight, ensuring timely reviews of NSS requested investigations and leads the weekly multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting.听

NSS Pathway Navigator:

Penny Borras

The NSS Pathway Navigator, navigates patients through their diagnostic pathway, coordinating scans, investigations and organising appointments. Penny is the main point of contact for patients on the NSS pathway.
